We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Music to join our thriving department. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of the curriculum and will also need to have first-rate keyboard skills, primarily as a pianist, though an ability to play the organ or bring related piano experience (such as in music theatre, rock or pop) is an advantage. There would be opportunities for chamber music coaching and orchestral conducting for interested candidates.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers, those on a PGCE, or complete beginners: teaching experience is not required.

The School’s salary scale is substantially above the national scale.

The Language Assistant’s role is primarily to support the Spanish department and their work with pupils. This includes helping develop pupils’ skills in general conversation, working on accurate pronunciation, fluency and idiom. The Language Assistant will also help deliver sessions on target language culture, and aid with reinforcement of topics seen in class.

The Language Assistant must be a native Spanish speaker. Experience of teaching a language with either young people or adults is desirable.

Salary: Competitive and in line with British Council
The role is term-time only (34 weeks), and is part-time: 18 hours per week.
The candidate must have the right to work in the UK i.e., EU Settled Status.

We are seeking to appoint a Judo Coach to be engaged on a casual contract with the School to work in the Judo area of our esteemed Sports Department. The post holder will support the development and training of players within the rules of the game and a commitment to the modern budo spirit. The successful candidate will be Dan grade Martial Arts skill in Judo, be able to demonstrate evidence of coaching skills and be a good role model and exemplify the values of the School.

Hours: This is a casual position and hours of work will be confirmed with your line manager as and when assistance is required. Occasional weekend work may be required.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Compliance Manager to join our busy and very friendly HR team.  Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing all compliance requirements within the HR Department.

The role will suit someone with experience of compliance related work, knowledge of UK employment law and demonstrable experience of its application. A strong attention to detail and time management, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary, are essential.

Salary Range: Competitive plus benefits

Hours: Full time hours are 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexible options may also be considered for example, a term time option (plus a minimum of 6 weeks during school holidays); start and end times during the day; working from home during the holidays. We are seeking a reliable, diligent and enthusiastic Intern to join the Partnerships team for the summer term. The chosen candidate will assist with monitoring and supervising online mentoring sessions provided on the Colet Mentoring App as well as supporting the Partnerships department with various partnership related activities like the in-person volunteering programme and onsite STEM and partnership course. The role will suit a school leaver or recent graduate looking for work during their gap year or following graduation.

Hours: The successful candidate will be employed on a casual contract and paid for the hours worked on a monthly basis. A willingness to be flexible is essential as the demands of the role are such that flexible working outside these times (evenings and weekends) will be required on occasion.
